“To The Max is one of my many Anthem songs. While working on
Tight Budget I realized I wanted a song speaking briefly on succeeding
in the industry of music. I knew I needed something most people who are
trying to succeed at something could appreciate. I called my musical buddy
Thor, the producer and singer on the track and told him what I needed. A few days
went by and Thor emailed me with the beat and the Hook. I sat on the track for a while, before actually writing and recording to it. I liked the beat and hook but just didn't know how to attack it, so I sat on it. Then late 2013 hit, I had 15 minutes of instant fame, I was placed on the front page of
Reverbnation.com Being on their site gave me a lot of attention at that time. I started getting emails and phone calls from people I hadn't heard from in a minute. That moment I felt like I was on top of the world. This gave me a lot to write about. You can hear that frustration in the first verse of the song. This is how my parts of the song was birthed.” -Jacob Izrael
